School District 55 Business Manager Russ Allen has accepted a job offer with Greater Albany Public Schools (GAPS).
He was tentatively hired as director of business and operations Friday. He still awaits the approval of the GAPS board for the position.
GAPS has more than 8,000 students and 800 staff members.
