The Linn County Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit for River Bend Park.
The new park will be located about five miles east of Sweet Home off Highway 20, just east of Camp Attitude. The park will cost an estimated $1.5 to $2 million, with possible completion by 2005. The project will be funded through grants and dedicated parks money, including user fees.
