The Sweet Home Planning Commission approved the first phase of what may eventually lead to a marina on Foster Lake last week.
The commission held a hearing on the project on March 3. The first phase of the project includes only a 14-lot subdivision on several properties located on the southwest part of Foster Lake, the wedge-shaped property at the corner of Highway 20 and Foster Dam Road.
