Churches from all over Sweet Home got together Friday night at St. Helen’s Catholic Church to join the World Day of Prayer.
“Prayer is our direct communication to our God,” Rev. Carol Sedlacek of St. Francis Episcopal said. “Prayer is something we also need, and our world needs it as well.”
The theme for the World Day of Prayer service was “Holy Spirit Fill Us.”
