Plans for River Bend Campground east of Sweet Home are progressing well, according to Brian Carroll, director of the Linn County Parks Department.
Carroll took the plans before the Sweet Home City Council Tuesday as a courtesy prior to seeking a conditional use permit from the county.
The 75-acre site was donated to the parks system four years ago by the Northwest Area Foundation (established by the Hill Family timber interests).
