The Sweet Home Planning Commission approved on Jan. 6 a conditional use permit and variance for the demolition and reconstruction of Sweet Home High School.
School District 55 requested approval for the demolition of approximately 46,500 square feet of the existing building. That will leave the pool, the east wing of classrooms, the auditorium and separate buildings intact.
