Local skaters said they liked the free-standing skate park component, an alternative to concrete, which they tried out Thursday and Saturday.
The City of Sweet Home opened the Flex Building off 42nd Avenue to skaters to try the component out. The city is proposing to build a skate park using a component system by Skate Wave.
