Seven girls are competing to be the 2003 Calapooia Roundup Rodeo Queen.
The rodeo committee held horsemanship tryouts Saturday morning for the seven girls.
Competitors include Robin Sliker, Rose Wyant, Alicia Lowen, Corrinne Ciechanowski, Nikki McDonald and Teri Rush of Lebanon and Elizabeth Fitzsimons of Sweet Home.
Fitzsimons returns after serving as co-queen this year. She was the second princess last year. After the queen stepped down, she joined the first princess as co-queen.
