The 54th Annual Rock and Gem Show was as busy as ever over the weekend as people from all over Oregon and even one couple from Connecticut flocked to Sweet Home to buy and admire stones and craftsmanship.
By 1:30 p.m. Saturday, some 650 persons had purchased the 50-cent tickets to the show. That doesn’t count children under the age of 12.
