In a relatively brief allusion to last month’s wind storm, power went out in the Sweet Home area for nearly eight hours Sunday.
At 2:35 p.m., circuits overloaded at the power substation on 18th Avenue blowing two feeders, with a boom reportedly being heard for several blocks. Power crews found pieces of glass and debris around the feeders.
