Jim R. Stephens, 31, was killed Tuesday morning last week on Pleasant Valley Road.
Unexpected icy roads caused by sleet was the cause of the crash, Sheriff Dave Burright said. At approximately 7:40 a.m., Stephens was driving a 1997 Ford pickup northbound on Pleasant Valley Road near Port Drive, where he lost control on a curve.
The pickup rolled one and a half times before coming to rest on the passenger side, Sheriff Burright said.…
