Levi Graven, 17, was committed to the Oregon Youth Authority at Oak Creek Detention Center Monday afternoon.
Graven was convicted of participating in the killing his neighbor’s dog in December and several other charges.
Disposition in the case was held off until Monday following a second psychological evaluation by the defense.
Dr. Gary Nielson, who evaluated Graven previously, was present and testified. The second psychologist did not show up at the hearing.
