Sheriff Dave Burright would like to remind Linn County citizens that the Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for its 11th Linn County Sheriff’s Academy, to be held March 5 through May 14.
The Citizen’s Academy is a popular series of classes designed to educate citizens about the Sheriff’s Office’s role in the criminal justice system and the community. The Citizen’s Academy was started in 1996 to promote awareness and understanding of police procedures and conduct.
