The Sweet Home City Council approved a proposal last week to remodel the City Hall basement and the modular unit behind City Hall.
The council agreed to spend $10,000 for mold removal in the basement and an additional $20,000 to make the basement and modular building usable by city staff. The council also decided that it would choose a new permanent meeting place later.
