Thresea K. Wade

Thresea K. Wade, 50, of Sweet Home died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1951 in Fresno, Calif., the daughter of Paul Lawrence and Marian Irene Wells Bahrenfus.
Mrs. Wade lived in Los Angeles where she was a life insurance agent.
She married Frank A. Wade on Aug. 5, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nev., and they moved to Sweet Home in 1989.
Mrs. Wade was a homemaker who enjoyed being with her family and going fishing.
She is survived by her husband, Frank, of Sweet Home; sons, Richard of Sweet Home, Paul Henson of Carslbad, Calif., and Frank Wade Jr. of California; seven grandchildren; mother, Marian of LaPine; sisters, Margaret Stoner of LaPine, Barbar Reiter of Mesa, Ariz., and Mary Morris of Creswell; and brother John Bahrenfus of Portland.
Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel.
Private family interment will be in the Lewis Cemetery.

Edna L. Park
Aug. 24, 1958-Oct. 31, 2001
Edna Lorraine Park, 43, of Sweet Home died on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Joseph Darwin and Bonita Tatam Park on Aug. 24, 1958.
She moved to Oregon at the age of 18 and had lived in Sweet Home on and off since then.
She was a homemaker an enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, music and the outdoors.
She worked at Albany Care Center as a CNA at one time.
She is surved by her daughters, Jennifer Fugate of Lebanon and Sasha Odam of Lebanon; sons Kenneth Ballard of Albany and Jesse Odam of Albany; two grandchildren; mother, Bonita of Albany; father, Joseph of Utah; brothers, James Lieberman of Halsey, Dwayne Park of Portland, and David Jakeman of Albany; and sisters, Wendy Jakeman of Albany, Penny Jakeman of Utah, Sherry of Utah and Brenda Jakeman of Hawaii.
Services will be planned for a later time.

Richard M. Grundle Jr.
Dec. 17, 1926-Nov. 2, 2001
Richard Milligan Grundle Jr., 72, of Sweet Home died on Friday, Nov. 2, 2001.
He was born on Dec. 17, 1926 in Detroit, Mich., the son of Richard Miligan and annie Mitchell Sr.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War from 1948 to 1952. He served on the USS Antietal.
Mr. Grundle married Pearl Louise Havins on Jan. 23, 1960 in Winter Haven, Calif.
Mr. Grundle moved from Michigan to Arizona in 1959 where he worked for Kroger’s Grocery Store in the produce department. He worked for U-Haul for many years as a painter and sandblaster.
Mr. Grundle retired in 1990 and moved to Sweet Home in 1994.
He enjoyed all sports but especially hockey and football.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl of Sweet Home; sons, Ben Deaver of Sweet Home and Rich grundle of Sweet Home; daughter, Tami Deaver of Sweet Home; six grandchildren; and sisters, Irene Moore of Howell, Mich., and Geraldine Rudnyk of Fountain Hill, Airz.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Benny Ray Deaver Jr.
A private family committal will be held.

LeRoy D. Anderson
April 13, 1940-Oct. 30, 2001
LeRoy Dale Anderson, 61, of Olympia, Wash., died on Oct. 30, 2001 from liver cancer.
He was born on April 13, 1940 to Ruben and Mary Anderson in Eveleth, Minn. He later moved, as a child, to Sweet Home where he grew up.
Mr. Anderson lost his fatehr at age 14 forcing him to take an adult role early in life. He assited his mother.
Mr. Anderson moved to Lebaon where he married Nedra Darlene Griffin. He resided in Lebanon until their divorce then relocated to Salem.
He worked in accouting and finance. During his time in the Willamette Valley, he worked for Linn Gear, Commodore Manufacturing and Willamette Industries.
Upon his move to Salem, Mr. Anderson had several other accounting jobs prior to beginning his 17-year-career with State Farm Insurance.
He worked at the regional office in the Finance Department in Salem. He later moved when the regional office was relocated to Dupont, Wash. He was scheduled to retire in April.
He enjoyed traveling, hiking, pets and the Oregon coast.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his twin sons, Todd Gestrin of Lebanon, Tadd Gestrin of Portland; sister, Shirley Leard of Pendleton; four grandchildren; and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
His service was held on Nov. 2 at the Virgil T. Golden Funeral Home and he was buried at City View Cemetery in Salem.
