Consulting firm Brown and Cauldwell initiated development of a wastewater facilities plan with a presentation to the Sweet Home City Council on Oct. 9.
The plan will outline steps to bring the City of Sweet Home into compliance with Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) regulations and eliminate the occasional discharge of raw effluent into the South Santiam River.
