Dave Barringer named to vacant battalion chief post
Sweet Home fire department veteran Dave Barringer will begin work as the Fire District’s new battalion chief Friday, filling a vacancy left by Mike Beaver’s promotion to fire chief.
Barringer was a volunteer captain with the Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District and a paramedic-firefighter with Lebanon Fire District.
