The Linn County Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 585 recently donated funds for an endowment scholarship memorial fund at Linn-Benton Community College. The VVA chapter gave $10,282 to the LBCC Foundation on Dec. 11, said the college’s director of development Douglas Keck. The endowment must be allowed to earn interest for a year before scholarships may begin to be provided to students who are military veterans or spouses or children of military veterans.
