Musical students in School District 55 entertained friends and family Tuesday and Thursday evening, offering a winter musical treat in two concerts.
“I like to introduce quality literature to my kids,” said music director Ken Collins. “I want them to learn, not just have fun music to play.”
This year’s winter concerts featured traditional holiday favorites, but added some new twists including a classic, “Russian Christmas Music” by Aldred Reed performed by the wind symphony.
