Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Nelson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 27 with their family and friends.
The couple will be honored for 50 years of marriage at a picnic reception from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Andrew Wiley Park, 53rd Ave.
Ernest and June Nelson were married on Aug. 31, 1950 in Erskine, Minn. they have lived in Sweet Home for 33 years.
