June Rosella McMullen, 83, of Sweet Home died Jan. 19, 2020.
She was born June 1, 1936 in Swiss Home to Vernon and Iva Ellen (Lynch) Hoeflein. She was raised by her mother and Ray Bond, who was a wonderful father and grandfather.
She lived in Oregon all her life, mostly in Sweet Home.
Mrs. McMullen enjoyed gardening and reading. She loved her grandchildren and teaching them how to cook.
She is survived by her children, Sharon and son-in-law Scott Thordarson of Mesa, Ariz., Edward Stone of Ketchikan, Alaska, and Ray and daughter-in-law Anny McMullen of Lebanon; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl McMullen; and four siblings.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Mapleton Pioneer Cemetery in Mapleton.
