Larry Lee Stafford, 53, died Sept. 3, 2019.
He was born Nov. 19, 1965 in Lebanon to Sharon (Meichtry) Stafford and Larry Gene Stafford.
At age 16 he, his mom and brother Matthew moved to Garibaldi. Lee graduated from Neah-Kah-Nie.
From age of 3 through college, he was a wrestler. He took district champ, then went on to finish as runner-up at state.
Lee received a scholarship to Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay.
As an adult he loved fishing, hunting, panning for gold, and the Sunstone Mines. He spent 10 years working on fishing boats in Alaska. During his last years he lived in Salem. Larry loved the outdoors.
Lee is survived by his mom, Sharon of Tillamook; brother Matthew, also of Tillamook; the love of his life, Lorna Hobbs Stafford and her son Michael of Salem; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Gene; and stepmother Iva.

In lieu of flowers Lee would love to have donations in his name made to the wrestling program at Neah-Kah-Nie High School.
