Candi Lynn Sills-Elliott, 54, of Sweet Home died Dec. 19, 2018.
She was born July 30, 1964 in Lebanon to Ronald G. and Luella K. (Amundson) Sills.
She was raised and educated in the Sweet Home area, graduating with the Class of 1982 of Sweet Home High School. She met Ken Turner while working at Hewlett Packard. They were married Jan. 18, 1992 in Lebanon, then later divorced.
Mrs. Elliott also worked as a pharmacy tech for Walmart and Economy Drugs for about 20 years.
On April 1, 2011 she married Oakley A. Elliott in Albany. Continuing her education was something she enjoyed. She studied psychology through Mid America Christian University.
She enjoyed playing guitar and singing, even auditioning for the XFactor in Eugene. She was an active member of Freedom Hill Church in Sweet Home. She loved delivering “Angel Tree” gifts during the holidays and spending all available free time with her “Buddy”.
Mrs. Elliott is survived by her son, Nickalaus Turner of Sweet Home; brother Todd Sills of Sweet Home; sister Jill Walker of Sweet Home; and stepkids Ryan A. Elliott and Brandon G. Elliott, of Sweet Home, and Shenea L. Dana of Albany; two grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oakley; and her parents.
Formal services will be conducted at a later date. The family asks that stories or notes be submitted through [email protected] or dropped by Sweet Home Funeral Home, which is handling the arrangements.
