Dean Richard Mink, 90, of Sweet Home died Aug. 10. 2018.
He was born April 6, 1928 in Lebanon to Archie L. and Rita S. (Sherfy) Mink.
He graduated from Sweet Home Union High School.
Mr. Mink served in the United States Army and was a Korean War veteran.
After returning from Korea he married Betty L. Cheek. They bought a home in Sweet Home, where they raised their children and lived all their lives.
Mr. Mink was employed as a timber faller. He loved hunting, fishing and trapping.
He is survived by a son, Gerald Mink; daughter Linda Ferebee; and sister Freida Noah, all of Sweet Home; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mink; son Danny Mink; grandson Dewayne Mink; and his parents.
