Sharon Rose Meacham Roth

Aug. 5, 1938 – April 16, 2018

Sharon Rose Meacham Roth passed away quietly in her sleep April 16, 2018.

Sharon was born Aug. 5, 1938 in Klamath Falls to Hugh and Rose Meacham.

She moved to the Sweet Home area with her family as a child. She lived the majority of her life in this area.

She attended Sweet Home High School but left to marry and raise a family, earning her GED at a later time. She worked various jobs in production and manufacturing. She retired early due to a heart condition.

Sharon loved the outdoors. She hunted and fished until her health no longer allowed it. She loved crochet and made many afghans and doilies for friends and family over the years. She loved her flowers, especially her lilies.

Sharon was a good cook and shared meals with family and friends as often as she could.

She had a kind heart and often gave jobs to people who needed a little help.

Over the last several years Sharon’s health continued to decline. She developed COPD and eventually she and her doctor decided on requesting hospice to help her with what time she had remaining.

Lumina Hospice helped make the last three months of Sharon’s life really special. She loved each person that helped her. She had a bath aid, massage therapist, acupuncturist, a nurse and a social worker.

She became as special to them as they were to her. They were truly about helping Sharon to live to the best of her ability and with the best quality of life possible.

Sharon’s flowers were given to family and friends that will love and nurture them as she did. Her possessions were given homes with her family and with people in need.

One family that lost everything in a fire, another person in need of a fridge, another person in need of a washer and dryer, etc. It seemed fitting that these things could be passed along to help others, just as Sharon would have done in life.

Sharon is survived by sisters Donna King, Gail Toedtemeier and Marsha Seiber; brother Butch (Leonard) Meacham; children Wanda Neuschwander of Cascadia, Wilma Cooper of Sweet Home, and Diane Walters of Boring; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, as well as 50-plus stepchildren, and step-grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Meacham, in 1948; mother, Rose Schluter Scanland in 2002; husband Robert Mull in 2015; son David Walters in 2017; granddaughter Savanna Wheeler in 1979; and nine brothers and sisters.

No services are planned.
