Robert Earl Lee Sr., 76, of Sweet Home died March 27, 2018.
He was born Aug. 18, 1941 in Banning, Calif. to Carl Ethan and Linnie Mae (Sanders) Lee.
He had lived in Sweet Home since 1980.
Mr. Lee was a carpenter. He also coached and volunteered for Little League for many years.
He enjoyed music, fishing, writing songs and playing guitar. He loved playing with his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Mr. Lee also enjoyed playing golf with friends and family, and loved showing his grandkids how to play. Since he enjoyed golf so much, he built a miniature golf course for his back yard, where he and his family would spend hours playing together.
Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ina Lee of Sweet Home; son Robert E. Lee Jr. of Shasta Lake City, Calif.; daughter Tina Swanson of Sweet Home; brothers Johnny Lee of Calamina, Calif., and Rusty Lee of Lebanon; six grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Lee, in 1988; mother Linnie Lee in 2005; daughter Tilly in 1960; son Billy in 1961; and sisters Carleene Greenfield in 1989, Sandy Sperlo in 2010, Teri Weigel in 2011, and Ronnie Carroll in 1997.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at Sweet Home Mennonite Church.
