Terry V. Stafford, 69, of Sweet Home died March 11, 2018 in Portland.
He was born Jan. 3, 1949 in Cole Camp, Mo. to Virgal J. and Emogene (Koehring) Stafford.
He moved to Sweet Home when he was 2 years old. He lived in the Liberty area until he was 18.
Mr. Stafford worked in the logging industry in Sweet Home and Alaska.
He is survived by his children, Amanda, Jeff and Rachel; three brothers, Phil, Steve and Jeff; seven sisters, Linda, Lona, Kellie, Lisa, Stephanie, Stacey and Briona; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Stafford was preceded in death by his father, Bud Stafford; mother Emogene; brother Brian Stafford; and great-granddaughter Velicity.
Mr. Stafford lived a tortured life because of mental illness. The family would like to thank the people of Sweet Home who befriended him and helped him.
