LaVera Mae (Brown) Anderson, 94, of Sweet Home died March 7, 2018.
She was born May 10, 1923 in Portland to Jess and Beatrice (Berg-lund) Brown.
Her favorite hobbies were fishing, sewing, quilting, reading, word search and plastic canvas. She was a member of Sweet Home Evangelical Church for over 60 years.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her children, Wayne and daughter-in-law Kay Anderson, Kim and son-in-law Larry Dixon, Arnie and daughter-in-law Kay Anderson, and Karie and son-in-law Gerald Tyler; sister Judy Schmidt; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Jerald Anderson, in 2009; sister Jackie DeBord; and brothers Charley Brown and Jess Brown.
Viewing will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 15, at Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Final burial will be at Lewis Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to Lumina Hospice or Sweet Home Evangelical Church.
