David Lee Guyer, 68, of Sweet Home died Feb. 27, 2018.
He was born Dec. 22, 1949 in Fort Towson, Okla. to Dave and Margy (Martin) Guyer.
Mr. Guyer moved to Sweet Home from Oklahoma with his first wife Linda, son and daughter in 1972.
He married his second wife Daisy in March of 1978 in Reno, Nev. Together they raised his niece Virginia Guyer (Jenny) since she was a baby. He worked at Willamette Industries in Sweet Home.
Mr. Guyer is survived by his wife, Shirley Guyer of Sweet Home; son David Lynn Guyer; daughter Tammy Coffey; and niece Virginia Kassheimer, all of Oklahoma; sisters Darlene Hager of Texas, Lois Stevens of Arkansas, Josie Norman of Idaho, and Mary Blagg of Oklahoma; brother Lloyd Guyer of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his dad; mom; second wife Daisy; sisters Fay and Margie; and one grandson.
Viewing will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 9, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
