Connie Jean Seward, 59, of Sweet Home, died Oct. 14, 2017 at OHSU hospital in Portland.
She was born May 24, 1958 in Lebanon to Susie Morgan Scott and Edgar William Scott.
She grew up in Sweet Home and married Merle Seward on April 14, 1979.
They lived in Albany for a few years before settling in Sweet Home, where she worked for White’s Electronics over 20 years before being diagnosed with AML leukemia in May of 2016.
Mrs. Seward loved her family and home life. She enjoyed reading and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Merle Seward; two sons, Kevin and Brian of Salem; her mother, Susie Scott Davenport and stepfather Harold Davenport of Albany; sister and brother-in-law Karen and Dean Baldinger of Sweet Home; nieces and nephews Cory and Teresa Wilson, Rachel and Taylor Jackson, Courtney Baldinger and Corey Herrera, and Aaron Baldinger, all of Sweet Home.
A memorial service is planned at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Harvest Christian Center, 4231 Long St., Sweet Home.
