Jeffrey Clyde Falconer, 51, of Sweet Home died Oct. 7, 2017.

He was born March 3, 1966 in Carmichael, Calif. to Michael Duane and Frances Fay (Williams) Jackson.

He grew up in Virginia, Wyoming and California, then moved to Springfield in 1983 when he met his wife. They came to Sweet Home in 1990 and had lived there until his death.

Mr. Falconer worked as a diesel mechanic. He was an ASE-certified mechanic and was a shop supervisor at an auto repair shop. He was also a tax preparer.

He had a great talent playing the guitar since he was very young. He enjoyed collecting NASCAR memorabilia, building model cars. He could fix almost anything and loved repairing little things that most people would throw away.

Mr. Falconer is survived by his wife, Christine M. Falconer; son Jeffrey Michael Falconer; and daughter-in-law Samantha Falconer, all of Sweet Home; siblings Rita McDevitt of Live Oak, Calif., Carolyn Toon of Cheyenne, Wyo., Penny Sparks of Springville, Ala., Michelle Butterfield of Turner, and Miles Falconer of Oroville, Calif.; one granddaughter; step-mother Winona Jackson of Sweet Home; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.

There will be a private family celebration.

Memorial contributions can be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
