Patia Hansen

Patia Jan Hansen, 90, of Sweet Home died Aug. 8, 2017.
She was born June 5, 1927 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Henry Glen and Ruth Blake (Hendricksen) Whitehead.
She lived in Idaho Falls until 1934, spending summers in the Iona Hills. In 1934 she moved to Iona and lived there until 1945 when she moved to Lincoln, Idaho.
She married LaMar Hansen on April 13, 1945 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The Hansens moved to Sweet Home in 1956.
Mrs. Hansen did all the book work for her and Mr. Hansen’s OK Tire Store. She helped build a house at Pacific City with her husabnd.
Mrs. Hansen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life. She loved to dance, and taught dancing at church for years. She also enjoyed being a seamstress.
Mrs. Hansen is survived by her husband, L. LaMar Hansen of Sweet Home; children Rod Hansen of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, Jana Renoud of Silverton, Rebecca Terry of Orem, Utah, and Glen Hansen of Bloomfield, New York; 16 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kimberly Renoud in 1971; and sister Virgie Rockwood in 2007.
A memorial service was held Aug. 14 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sweet Home. Private burial took place at Gilliland Cemetery.
