Eunice Lee Lawrence, 93, of Sweet Home died Jan. 31, 2017.
She was born Jan. 15, 1924 in Talihina, Okla., to Jesse and Mattie Mae (Rose) Lewis.
She spent her early years in Oklahoma but lived in Oregon since 1952. She was a homemaker until her husband’s death, when she went to work and retired from White’s Electronics.
Mrs. Lawrence loved sewing, making quilts, crafts and, especially, cooking for her family. She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her best friend, Zella Gaskey, until Zella’s death.
Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her children Lelon and daughter-in-law Doris Lawrence of Sweet Home, William and daughter-in-law Freida Lawrence of Lebanon, Jessie Carter of Sweet Home, Sonny and daughter-in-law Glenda Lawrence of Amity, Bobbie France and Ken Oakeson of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bennie” Lawrence; son-in-law Greg France; grandson Scott Lawrence; granddaughter Dee Lawrence; great-grandson Brandon Lawrence; great-granddaughter Rochell Lawrence; and great-grandson Logan Rainwater.
A funeral service was held Feb. 7 at Freedom Hill Church.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to Sweet Home Hope Center.
