Connie Myers

Connie Gale Myers, 68, of Sweet Home died Jan. 8, 2017 at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

She was born June 15, 1948 in Mena, Ark., the daughter of Orville and Ida (Smith) McCravens.

She moved to Lebanon, where she attended school, as a child.

She married Clifford “Ray” Myers in Lebanon on March 12, 1965. The couple lived in Sweet Home, Lebanon and a short time in Roseburg.

Mrs. Myers worked as a grocery clerk at the Safeway Store in Sweet Home for several years. She also worked for the State of Oregon disability services in Lebanon and Roseburg.

She enjoyed going out to dinner and going to the casinos.

Mrs. Myers is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Clifford “Ray” Myers of Sweet Home; son Steven Myers of Sweet Home; brothers, Royce and Harold McCravens, both of Lebanon; sisters, Cloy Cotner of Mena, Ark., and Erma Miller of Sweet Home; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son Darren; a great-grandson; and by her parents.

A memorial gathering will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 at the Lebanon Free Methodist Church.
