Rody Leroy Kelly, 71, of Sweet Home died Nov. 15, 2016.
He was born June 15, 1945 in Lebanon to Lee Roy and Lois Emma (McKinnon) Kelly.
Mr. Kelly served in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1969 and was stationed in Adak, Alaska aboard the USS Ranger Carrier in the Aleutian Islands during the Pueblo incident.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Kelly of Sweet Home; sons Richard Kelly, and Stan and daughter-in-law Anglena Kelly, all of Sweet Home, and Travis Kelly of Helena, Mont.; sisters Shirley and brother-in-law Niels Hanson, Melody and brother-in-law John Wiles, both of Sweet Home; five grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; friends Helen and her sons Wayne, Billy and Keith.
Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by his parents; former wife Juanita Henthorne Kelly; and three nieces.
A Celebration of Life potluck is planned for 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at the Sweet Home Veterans Club.
