Danny Clay Aldridge, 64, died Oct. 19, 2016 at home peacefully in his sleep from complications related to cancer.
He was in hospice care for only eight weeks.
Mr. Aldridge was born June 16, 1952 in Vancouver, Wash. to Ted and LaVern (Turner) Aldridge.
He graduated from Fort Vancouver High School and then served in the Washington Army National Guard.
He lived in Vancouver, St. Helens and Sweet Home.
He enjoyed playing the piano and watching TV. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Aldridge is survived by his partner, Dan Warren; sons Clayton and Tyler Aldridge; mother LaVern Rupe; three grandchildren; brother Alan and sister-in-law Jeannie Aldridge; and sisters Darlene Carson and Deanna Ely.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Aldridge.
A Celebration of Life is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Jim Riggs Community Center, 870 18th Ave., Sweet Home.
