(July 8, 1941 – August 26, 2016) James Arlo Pulver, 75, of Albany (formerly of Sweet Home), slipped peacefully from this life into the waiting arms of Jesus on Aug. 26, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Carrington, N.D. to Cass and Frances (McDonald) Pulver.
He worked at Wah Chang for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved playing pool and cards with friends. He drew strength from his family.
He is survived by his wife Vanda; children: Teresa Pulver, Todd and Kathy Pulver, Shirley Taylor, Richard Taylor, Penny and Gary Cooke; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild with one on the way; two sisters: Mattie Oak, Arlyse Link; brother-in-law Dean; and many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents; sister Thelma; and brother Gary.
Celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
