Rhonda K. Ashley, 48, of Sweet Home died Nov. 22, 2015 at Evergreen Hospice in Albany.
She was born Oct. 22, 1967 in Portland to Georgia Upward, one of four children.
She graduated from Sweet Home High School and earned a degree in business from Lane Community College.
She was very involved in events through the Sweet Home Veterans Club, where she worked for many years. Mrs. Ashley enjoyed being around friends and family.
She was very close with her only biological grandchild and loved being involved in her growing up.
She enjoyed football season; she was a Green Bay Packers fan. She was a kind person, who enjoyed making people laugh.
Mrs. Ashley is survived by her mother, Georgia Upward of Sweet Home; her fiancé, Bret Jeppsen of Sweet Home; two children, daughter Chantel Forsberg of Terrebonne, and son Dustin and daughter-in-law Candice Forsberg of Sweet Home; one granddaughter; a brother, Kevin Ashley of Sweet Home; and sisters Karla Ashley of Reedsport and Theresa Ashley of The Dalles.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jerry Upward; and her grandmother, Dorothy Goode.
A memorial service is planned for noon Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Veterans Club.
