Jessie Marilyn “Lyn” Carr, 77, of Sweet Home, died Oct. 31, 2015. She was born Aug. 5, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Jesse Manuel “Jack” Trevathan and Elva Etta Ince, the oldest of seven children.
She married William Morgan Hetrick on March 23, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas. They later divorced.
She married Sidney John Carr on June 28, 1974 in Sparks, Nev.
Mrs. Carr is survived by her husband, Sidney John Carr of Sweet Home; sons William Morgan “Buzz” and daughter-in-law Debbie Hetrick of San Antonio, Texas, Tyee Joshua and daughter-in-law Caroline Carr of Portland; David Ryan and daughter-in-law Cathleen Carr of Barbados; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her sons, Harry “Jinx” Hetrick III and Danny Hetrick.
Viewing will be at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sweet Home. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m.
