Mason Dale Tagen, 24, of Lebanon, formerly of Sweet Home, passed away Wednesday, June 24, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Mason was born April 4, 1991 in Lebanon, son of Gregory Tagen and Denise Hanes and was raised by his parents Gregory and Tonya Tagen.
He attended schools in Sweet Home, graduated from Lane Community College and was a proud logger at B&G Logging. He loved his job and being able to support his family.
His favorite activities included being outdoors, camping, fishing, gaming and hanging out with his family. He had a passion for music, playing the guitar and drums and drawing.
Mason was a devoted and proud father, fiancé, brother, son, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Everyone who knew him loved him because he had a huge heart and an adorable smile. All enjoyed his great sense of humor and he will be missed dearly and never forgotten.
Mason is survived by his fiancé Madison Pellett; 2-month-old son Daemon Dale Tagen; parents Greg and Tonya Tagen, Denise Valentine; three brothers: Joshua Sparhawk, Bryan Hanes, and Richard Tagen; three sisters: Sabrina Smith, Chara & Taiza Tagen; Grandparents: Grandma Doris, Grammi Peggy and Grandma Donna; niece Marlie Mae Barton; nephew Carter Bradley McKechnie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins and two pit bulls whom he loved: Jake Sr. and Jake Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ambrose Sparhawk.
Graveside service was held 11 am Monday, June 29th at Lewis Cemetery in Foster.
