Caroline Nichole Huss, 16, of Brownsville, died Dec. 22, 2013.
She was born in Oregon City to Peter J. and Angela N. (Fleming) Huss.
The family moved to Big Rapids, Mich. before returning to Oregon in 2005.
Caroline lived in Brownsville with her mother and siblings. She often worked for and helped out at her mom’s nursery.
She was a student at Sweet Home High School.
She loved playing soccer and played for Sweet Home High School. She loved music, nature, being with friends and going to camp. She enjoyed time with her family. She loved to laugh and make others laugh.
Caroline is survived by her father, Peter J. Huss of Corvallis; mother, Angela N. Huss of Brownsville; brothers Jason E. Huss and Ryan A. Huss of Brownsville; sister Rachel L. Huss of Brownsville; grandfather Grant D. Fleming of Oregon City; grandmother Jacque M. Fleming of Redmond; grandparents John and Sharon Huss of Grayling, Mich.; great-grandfather Louis Gobet of Oregon City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to maintain the feel of a family service. They appreciate all the support they have received from friends and the community.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Fir Lawn Lutheran Church, with a reception following.
