Euphemia “Faye” James, 84, died July 16, 2013 in Sweet Home.
She was born Oct. 5, 1928 in Stillwell, Okla. to John and Ruth (Palone) Charles.
She attended Piney school in Adair County, Okla. through the seventh grade, then moved with her family to Klamath Falls. She graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1947. Mrs. James eventually retired from the State of Oregon offices in Klamath Falls, in 1991.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Andrews of Sweet Home; sister Deanna Sherman of Klamath Falls; nephews Jesse Wilder of Klamath Falls, Mike and Rex Ledbetter of Medford; and cousins and in-laws.
Mrs. James was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Charles; sister Louella Northcutt; husband Dalton James and first husband Al Hakenwerth, all of whom resided in Klamath Falls at some point.
In respect of her wishes, there will be no services. Final burial will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens in Klamath Falls.
