David Ray Robertson

May 19, 1954 – May 30, 2013

David Ray Robertson, a father, grandfather, son and brother, left us after 59 years of life. He spent his time living and enjoying life’s experiences.

Born May 19, 1954 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. to very blessed parents, Ben and Peggy (Karnes) Robertson, he spent his first moments in life starting new traditions and finding his home in this world as he traveled to Oregon on his mom’s lap.

From innocent child to mischievous teenager on to adulthood. He worked hard, raised children and loved those around him.

A man of many talents, a motivated millwright, a self driven logger, an excellent machinist, and essential component of a large ranch. In his retirement after being disabled from many injuries, Dave took on the title “Master at the Art of Fishing,” which he wore with honor.

Dave was a simple man who traveled many roads in his life, his love for his family shining brightly. He was always happy to settle for good company, a full belly, and a warm fire.

Dave’s love and friendship was felt by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Dave….David…..Uncle Davin…..Grandpa…..Dad…..Pa…..Rest in Peace.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
