Lloyd Edward Emigh, 63, formerly of Sweet Home and
Klamath Falls, died at his home in Boise, Idaho on Dec. 26, 2012.
He was born July 5, 1949 in Oregon City to Billy Roy and Audrey Emigh. He lived most of his life in Corvallis, where he attended grade school, graduated from high school in 1967, and earned a bachelor of science degree from Oregon State University.
A lifelong football fan, Mr. Emigh played high school football, basketball, and sang in the choir. He loved music and had a wonderful singing voice. He enlisted in the Air Force and served four years in England.
He spent several years living in Sweet Home where he worked at the water and wastewater treatment plant. He then moved to Klamath Falls, where he worked at the wastewater treatment plant. He made many wonderful friends during his employment at both facilities.
Mr. Emigh is survived by his wife, Sydney Emigh; son Austin Emigh; daughter Heather “Emigh” Berge; one grandson; several step-children and step-grandchildren; his mother, Audrey Emigh; sisters Beverly Carpenter and Jeanette Harvey of California, and JoAnne Sheldon of Oregon; many friends; and his always loyal dog Buddy.
Mr. Emigh will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Roy Emigh; and his grandparents.
A memorial wake was held Jan. 5 in Boise, Idaho.
