Harold Leland Fosback, 82, of Springfield died Dec. 19, 2011 of pneumonia.
He was born Aug. 11, 1929 in Cushman, the son of Karl and Ingeborg Valor Fosback.
He graduated from Siuslaw High School in Florence in 1947, and later attended Oregon Technical Institute in Klamath Falls. He served in the U.S. Army as a medic in Germany following World War II.
