She was born Oct. 27, 1927 in Belle Fourche, S.D., the daughter of Harlow Augustus Reed and Emily Alice (LaFlamme) Reed.
She was married to Eugene Archie Reed near Coquille on Oct. 21, 1949. He died in 1999. She and Mr. Reed lived at the Reedsford Dairy near Myrtle Point. Their children were the fourth generation…
