Anna Arlene Wolfe, 75, of Sweet Home died Aug. 19, 2008.
She was born July 13, 1933 in Hardisty, Alberta, Canada to Thomas Edward and Hilma (Nelson) Hunking.
Mrs. Wolfe grew up around Woodburn and Hubbard, and attended Canby High School. She married Richard K. Wolfe on Nov. 22, 1948 in Woodburn. They lived many years in the Waldport-Tidewater area, working at several fish canneries. They moved to Sweet Home in 1993.
She loved jigsaw puzzles, reading and flower gardens. She worked with Meals on Wheels from 1993 until 2003, when health prevented her to continue.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her sons Keith Wolfe and Ronald Wolfe of Sweet Home; daughters Sharon Gibbons of Crawfordsville and Patricia Jackson of Cascadia; sisters Jean Vredurburg of Woodburn and Helen Van De Hey of Florence; brother Veloyce Hunking of Prineville; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard K. Wolfe and infant daughter.
A funeral service was held Aug. 25 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Lebanon, with burial at Gilliland Cemetery.
