Horace Preston Patton Jr, 69, of Sweet Home died June 29, 2008.
He was born Jan. 11, 1939, in DeValls Bluff, Ark., to Horace Preston Sr. and Bessie Victoria (Alexander) Patton. He was raised in the DeValls Bluff area of Arkansas before joining the Navy and serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
