Robert “Bob” Williams died Feb. 22, 2008 of a heart attack at his home in Sweet Home. He had been battling lung cancer for more than a year.
He was born Aug. 31, 1917 in Salem, the middle child among seven siblings.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Williams enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, camping and his dog Sassy.
