Margaret Louise Sanders, 74, of Sweet Home, (formerly of San Diego), died Sept. 21, 2007.
She was born in Picher, Okla. to Paul Edward and Edith May (Williams) Southworth. She was raised a Methodist.
She moved to San Diego in 1958. She moved to Sweet Home in August 2007.
Mrs. Sanders started off as a payroll clerk for San Diego Federal Savings and Loan in 1958. Over her 30-year career in the savings and loan field, she worked her way up and retired as an assistant vice-president with Great American Savings and Loan.
She found great joy in cooking and catalog shopping for all of her children and grand children. She also liked helping the less fortunate by volunteering her time and resources. She was particularly interested in helping our veterans.
Mrs. Sanders is survived by her four children, Marc Sanders and Craig Satien of Springfield; son, Larry Horton of Sweet Home; and Tommye Sanders, her only daughter, of San Diego; and a sister, Linda Sanders of San Diego. She has six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sanders, and her mother and father, Edith and Paul Southworth.
